Three dozen fall ill at Obama rally in Md.
BOWIE, Md. - About three dozen people have been treated for illness during a rally featuring President Obama at Bowie State University.

Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady tells WTOP numerous ambulances have been sent to the rally after people started fainting and became dizzy.

The problems could be related to warmer temperatures today. Brady says crowds at the rally were outside and packed shoulder to shoulder.

Two people have been taken to the hospital so far, Brady says. The rest have been treated at the scene.

3. I saw people yesterday here when it was 60 wearing long winter parkas, so
I would not be surprised. It was also in the mid 40's this morning.

5. Yeah, I left my apartment for my jog wearing a hoodie and track pants.
I ended up two hours later returning home in my tee-shirt carrying the hoodie.

4. This had better be thoroughly investigated.
It may be nothing but it sure sounds suspicious.

6. Local news is reporting
that a combination of excitement at seeing the President, long waits, and crowded conditions appear to be the cause. There were also a few people treated for bee stings.

8. It wasn't THAT warm here today -- this is all very strange.
I saw the story earlier when WTOP was reporting it was about 15 people.

I hope everyone recovers quickly.
