It's called bribery. It was also espionage. Big time. Saudis, Israelis, Gulf Arabs, Turks, Russians, Chinese, Malaysians all handing crooked intel-connected operatives like Black Hat Jack really BIG checks for distribution to ranking GOP members of the Intel, Armed Services and Ways & Means Committees. Look at Sibel's list.

Even the puny Indian Affairs Committee got some. So did Karl Rove.

Unfortunately, Hollywood isn't ready to tell the story of how the American political process was bought and paid for by a bunch of foreign banks, organized crime networks, crooked defense contractors, and intelligence services operating through professional influence peddlers like the unfortunate Mr. Abramoff.
