I received a flyer targeting Darrel Aubertine, up for re-election to the New York State Senate. The flyer is from Common Sense, Glen Allen, VA (www.commonsenseprinciples.com)

It's pretty nasty, featuring photos of two scary black men and a Latino, all from Nu Yawk City! This is a rural, mostly white, Upstate district.

I'm thinking someone is targeting the New York State legislature ahead of re-districting.

3. In doing a bit more digging, I found that the zip code for Common Sense Strategies

is 23059 and Eric Cantor's office in Glen Allen, Virginia is 23060 which would suggest they are right next door to each other. Interesting, imo.

5. I agree, it seems there may well be big money behind this...

and it is well worth trying to dig down to find out where it's coming from, etc. I gave your other OP a rec and if I find out more by digging will post it there.

6. I'm wondering if that photo is the same as seen on two campaign ads

that Colbert exposed on his show. Two different campaigns had the same stock photo of 3 young ugly looking men.
