Patty Murray can win, needs help..Senate Washington..
Edited on Sun Oct-10-10 04:15 PM by Stuart G
If Murray Wins, and we win in Conn, CA, and Deleware..and all other states where we are very strong,
we need only one more..to control the Senate..Yes, we can get one from
Co, IL, West Virginia, or maybe ..maybe WI or Penn....
so Murray is very very important...

Here is the take from Real Clear Politics...Murray Vs Rossi...

Edited on Sun Oct-10-10 04:20 PM by Stuart G
We need 51 to control the Senate..

46 solid..2 leaning..Deleware, and CA

3 ...toss ups.
.But Conn is no longer toss up
If we can win Washington, with Murray, we need one more.. link to NYT Map..

Look at this map..do the math yourself...this assumes that the two independents, Sanders and Liberman, continue to caucus with us..

4. We need 51 maybe we can get 52..but in the H of Reps there
are projections everywhere.

In Illinois where I live, we may pic up one, lose one. If we stay even, it will be a victory. If we just lose one, we will still be ok,,projections while look nice, are unclear. We could easily keep the House if people just realize who the hell they are voting for.

6. Parche, you are correct, it shouldn't be that close, but
Edited on Sun Oct-10-10 04:33 PM by Stuart G
it looks like it is.
Very very sad..Russ has protected every progressive idea there is.
I hope that people up there wake up. His opponent, Ron Johnson, is a jerk.

7. Well, 50 actually
Because VP Biden is the tiebreaker. But Sen. Murray is indeed important, back when I lived in WA, her office did something quite good for me personally, and she has done great things for our nation.

9. Yes, we can win. There is enough time..
In many races we are very close. We can win, if we get the vote out, don't give up, and continue to pass the word around that these teabaggers are nuts.
Cutting social security is not an option. Cutting the federal budget 10 percent across the board to save money is not an option...
Cutting everything is not an option..

This election is not tomorrow.
This election is in three weeks.
It ain't over till the last curtain call..
It is only in the beginning of the fourth act.

Let us not give up because of some polls that look bad
I don't recall Harry Truman giving up in 48..
Do you?
