(R)asmussen Poll--Oregon Gov: Kitzhaber (D) 48% (+3) Dudley (R) 46% (-3) |
|
Heading in the right direction even in a Ras poll:
Following their first – and only – televised debate, Democrat John Kitzhaber and Republican Chris Dudley remain locked in a tight race to be Oregon’s next governor.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state finds Kitzhaber earning 48% of the vote, his best showing to date, while Dudley receives 46% support. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
This race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard.
The two candidates have been neck-and-neck since early February. Last month, Dudley, earning his highest level of support thus far, held a 49% to 44% advantage over Kitzhaber.

1. Oh thank goodness. If Raz shows him up, he's probably really up. |
|
Also, The Oregonian (main newspaper of the state) endorsed Kitz yesterday, for what it's worth (which maybe isn't much anymore ... dunno).

2. Dudley is an empty suit with zero experience |
|
I had to look up who he was basketball wise, and I was not impressed with that record either. His positions are half baked talking points, between his mediocrity and Art Robinson's lack of all credibility, the Oregon Republican Party looks like it is in really bad shape. Where do they find these guys they call their best and brightest?

3. Kurt Schrader in district 5 probably can use our help... |
|
I think the Oregon Dems are most concerned about that race now since its very neck and neck. I think ultimately DeFazio and Kitzhaber pull through, but Schrader is a little under the radar.
BTW, does anyone know when we get new seat allotments based on the last census? I think Oregon is due to get another seat soon with the newer numbers.

Isn't this a pickup If Kitzhaber retakes the Governorship here? If so It defeats the doom and gloom the MSM wants to paint.
This means this race Is moving in Kitzhaber's direction.

Still would be something to keep this since many assumed it would be a Republican win.And If we keep The Republican Governorships to 29 or less it will be a victory since they have been braging after november they would have 30 Governorships.

9. Actually, Oregon hasn't elected a Republican governor since 1982. |

If Dudley wins it will suck majorly.
