2. President Obama in Florida to Help Kendrick Meek and Other Democrats

With President Barack Obama in Florida on Monday to help Democratic candidates in the Sunshine State, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, the Democratic nominee in the U.S. Senate election, went all out to link himself to the White House.

Lagging behind Republican front-runner Marco Rubio and Gov. Charlie Crist who is running with no party affiliation, Meek has been the subject of whispers that he would pull the plug on his campaign and back Crist. Meek vehemently denied those rumors on Thursday night and pivoted the focus of his campaign from attacking the governor to targeting Rubio who has a double-digit lead in the polls.

First time I remember him doing that .... although Biden has been doing it for a while. He's either doing that because he's talking to DONORS .... or he means it. Would like to hear an actual quote though.
