Jenkins Gets Primary Challenge in Kansas 2
A Kansas state senator announced Tuesday that he is considering challenging Republican freshman Rep. Lynn Jenkins in the GOP primary in August 2010.

GOP State Sen. Dennis Pyle announced that he is considering entering the race, plus filed his candidacy last week. Jenkins defeated former Rep. Jim Ryun in the 2008 GOP primary, then went on to defeat one-term Democratic Rep. Nancy Boyda in the general election.

"When Lynn was elected, there were a lot of Republicans who were suspect of how genuine a conservative she was," Pyle said in his announcement. "But most of us decided to take a wait-and-see approach. With her record before she was elected to Congress, and just a few votes while in Congress, it is abundantly clear that Lynn is not a conservative."

1. I gotta give her credit
for guts or maybe just for senselessness. She sends her crap here all the time and I send it back, full of answers and always end it with the statement that if she really wants to help Kansas, she should never ever ever run for any office again. She keeps on sending stuff. Jim Ryun stopped the first time I answered. I did not agree with him so he did not want to listen to it anymore. I have always been polite never vulgar but at least she continues to pretend she cares what we say. Or maybe she really is the Great White Dope.

My friend is running against her (if she wins the primary). It should be interesting. I will be tickled pink to watch Laura wipe the floor with her.
