(R)asmussen Poll--IL Senate: Giannoulias (D) 44% (+3) Kirk (R) -2)
Of course Ras says "little has changed" except that in their last poll Alexi was down 4-points and now he's up 1, but yes, it's still a toss-up:

With just three weeks left until Election Day, Republican Congressman Mark Kirk and Democrat Alexi Giannoulias remain deadlocked in Illinois’ race for the U.S. Senate.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Giannoulias, the current state treasurer, picking up 44% of the vote, while Kirk draws support from 43%. Green Party candidate LeAlan Jones earns just four percent (4%) support. Seven percent (7%) prefer some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The race is little changed from last week when Kirk led Giannoulias 45% to 41%. Kirk and Giannoulias have now run within four points or less of each other in nine surveys since early June.

The race is still a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.

2. Please get out and vote for Alexi
Even, if like me, you're not all that in love with him and voted for someone else in the primaries. I will die if we end up with a Republican senator in this state.

Mark Kirk used to be something of a moderate, but it doesn't matter what he is these days: if elected, he will vote the Republican agenda and block every one of the president's initiatives on orders from his party, no matter what he personally believes.

4. How can any organisation that wants to be taken seriously say something like "little has changed"...
..when in fact based on the information they provide, it has COMPLETELY changed from one guy being in the lead to the other guy now being in the lead...yeah, no spin there eh?
