1. Maybe 'cause it's a Rasmussen poll |
|
and their methodology probably sucks.
Or maybe large swaths of Colorado are inhabited by ignorant yahoos.
Could be a little of both.

2. Looks like their version of FL |
|
12% is probably what's left of sane Republicans. Doubt Tan can get more than what he's getting now.

the man WAS in congress for a long time, so he has a record, experience, and in politics, name means a lot ... He is a nut, but in a season where you can't even start to count the lunatics the Rs have put up, he has some actual legitimacy as a candidate ...

6. I look first at the percentages but then quickly at who |
|
is running the poll, and, seeing that it's who it is, I make the 3-to-4-point Rasmussen adjustment toward the blue candidate, and then consider the current polling to be at least a 7 to 9 point lead for Hickenlooper.
Tancredo likely has his virulent supporters but there are quite a few folks in the Denver-Boulder corridor who can't stomach the thought of him in the Governor's chair. They aren't interested in a racist hack running their state.
I hope Hickenlooper mops the floor with him.
