Bangalore *IS NOT* in a Muslim region. Chennai isn't in a
Muslim region. Delhi certainly isn't. I don't think *ANY* of
the big off-shoring centers are in Muslim regions (probably
in part because those regions are less stable).

While it's of course true that the partition wasn't absolute,
India is a far-less Muslim country than either Pakistan or
Bangladesh (née East Pakistan).

None of the H1Bs that I've known have been Muslim, and
as far as I know, neither were any of the off-shore contractors
I've encountered.
