Breaking: Democrats more willing to vote for their candidates than Republicans.
Edited on Sun Oct-17-10 09:20 AM by Mass
Of course, you have to dig up the numbers from the AP article that is all about doom and gloom for Democrats.

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/news/2010/10/poll_many_obama_2008_supporters_defecting_to_gop.php?ref=fpa

Poll: Many Obama 2008 supporters defecting to GOP
Poll: Obama's 2008 coalition dispirited and crumbling; GOP stands to benefit on Election Day

LIZ SIDOTI

But it is there, however

_76 percent of Obama voters say they will support the Democrat in their House district, while 8 percent plan to back the Republican and the rest are undecided.

_71 percent of McCain voters say they will vote for the Republican in their House district, while 9 percent plan to get behind Democrats and 20 percent haven't chosen a candidate.

Really, so how do they reconcile the stats with the title. By ignoring the stat and finding people ready to say they dont like Obama. :banghead:

Given that there were more Obama voters than McCain voters, it should be good news for Dems. Except in the MSM world where up is down.

2. A higher percentage of Obama's supporters are voting for the Democrats than McCain's voters
are voting for the Republicans.

The fact that 20% of McCain's voters don't know if they will vote for the Democrat or Republican is amazing.

This is more like doom and gloom on the Republican side.

3. Republicans almost always vote Republican in higher percentages
than Democrats vote for Democrats. If Democratic turnout is even close to Republic turnout and these percentages hold, then we could hold on to one house of Congress.

5. Not only are a higher percentage of obama voters voting for democrats...
But there are also more Obama voters than there are McCain voters.

If the democrats want to minimize their loses, they have got to "Get Out The Vote"

what with witchcraft, masturbation, Nazi uniforms and all the rest of it.

9. They also forget that the Obama Republicans are, by definition, Republicans!
These were the rare Republicans too offended by the Republican Establishment or who didn't like Sarah Palin and/or John McCain.

But the key is that they were and still are REPUBLICANS.

So, here's another attempt by the Corporate Media to make this about Obama and to create discord and disillusionment among Democrats.

It's all up to us to prove them wrong!!!
