Miller (R) of Alaska has editor of Alaska Dispatch detained and handcuffed by thugs
Security guards for Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller (R) handcuffed and detained the editor of the Alaska Dispatch at a campaign event in Anchorage, the Anchorage Daily News reports.

Tony Hopfinger was handcuffed by the guards and detained in a hallway at a school until Anchorage police came and told the guards to release him.

Miller's statement: "While I've gotten used to the blog Alaska Dispatch's assault on me and my family, I never thought that it would lead to a physical assault. It's too bad that this blogger would take advantage of a Town Hall meeting to create a publicity stunt just two weeks before the election."

Miller is really erratic. I hope that the Dem can pull it out in the next couple of weeks.

the actual detaining and handcuffing of the editor was set up by Mr. Hopfinger himself? Is that the "publicity stunt to which he referred? OMG!

These whack-jobs are getting further and further into the mud every day.....My local paper's on line version has some of the most idiotic posters, one in particular who has compared being pro-choice to being racist, (you know, the whole Margaret Sanger supported abortion as a way to eliminate blacks crap) and now - hold on tight - he has now stated that a sign put up on his candidate's lawn in October, 2008, with Obama's face super imposed onto bin Laden's picture is not at all racist and the only person who should be offended by that is, wait for it...... bin Laden!!!!!!!!

3. The Miller campaign appears not to have read the
First Amendment, the one about freedom of speech.

It's kind of an important amendment thingy.
