(R)asmussen Poll--WA Senate--Murray (D) 49% (+3) Rossi 46%(-3) |
|
Democratic incumbent Patty Murray is barely ahead of Republican challenger Dino Rossi now as the lead seesaws again in Washington’s neck-and-neck U.S. Senate race.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Washington shows Murray with 49% of the vote to Rossi’s 46%. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see question wording, click here.)
Less than two weeks ago, the numbers were reversed with Rossi holding a minimal 49% to 46% lead, highlighting how close this race has been for months. The race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.

5. yep, just what I was thinking |

Nate Silver had an interesting article last week about how Washington's vote-by-mail plays merry hell with standard polling methodologies. If Murray is ahead in Rasmussen's poll, Rossi's going to get spanked.
Maybe Rossi will get the message and go away.

3. can't believe it is that close |

he is such an idiot - can't even answer a question. The one question he could answer is "How do you plan to become a wealthy senator if elected?"

Hey OP, I hope this is the end for Rossi. I am tired of seeing his smirky face, nauseating. And to top it all off his supporters are bat shit crazy. Every election season they come out of the woodwork with their crazy bumper stickers, usually the older folks.

Don't you worry. The adults got your back. Yea the thousands of us whom may not of agreed or liked everything Murray has done; we got your back because as adults we are looking at the bigger picture. We will go and vote in your behalf. We will vote in behalf of every irresponsible pinhead that chooses not to vote and those who are unable to vote because god forbid if Rossi wins. In Rossi wins the least of your worries will be the "ugly HCR bill" that kept you from voting. Unfuckingbelievable. Yea I did it. I made that all one word.

13. I suppose the fact that Murray was one of only 21 |

Democrats to vote against the invasion of Iraq holds no special consideration for you? Not only voted against it, but did so in a State with a high military population two years before a re-election campaign. Think about that. Think about the courage and integrity it took to do that. BUT, instead your short memory will only remember the HCR bill.

12. Rasmussen starts telling the truth as the election nears, as he does not want to be embarassed |

He is now forced to tell us exactly what's going on. You will see him get more realistic as the election gets closer. He can no longer pretend Murray is tied or losing.
