KY-SEN POLL (Internal): Conway 49, Paul 47.

:bounce:

* A new Democratic poll shows Democrat Jack Conway surging in the Kentucky Senate race. The Bennet, Petts and Normington poll, conducted for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and shared with The Fix, shows Conway at 49 percent and Republican Rand Paul at 47 percent - Conway's best showing in a poll since late June. The poll was conducted Sunday and Monday, a day after Conway's campaign launched a controversial new ad which became the topic du jour in a debate on Sunday night.

7. Very happy to see this poll. Even if this is an internal poll, coupled with Rasmussen, it shows
some movement in a race that was lost by a couple percentage points in 2004.

6. Releasing an internal like this shows that the campaign has some confidence they can win
At this late stage, confidence is a good sign.

9. A lot of good news for Dems lately
Expect the mediawhores to step it up even more. Conway will be painted as the crazy and Paul the reasonable politician.

11. Election Night
This Could be a replay of 1998.Polls show Democrats are waking up.The MSM keeps saying Republicans will win 47-50 Seats but what
happens If they only pick up 30-35 seats and Pelosi remains Speaker.A new poll has Feingold down by 2.Imagne If Republicans only
pick up ND,Indiana, and Arkansas but Conway shocks many and narrorly beats paul and maybe just maybe there Is a Democratic Upset In
Missouri,or Alaska.

Back In 1998 Republicans were suspose to pick up seats In both the House and Senate.Democrats picked up 5 House seats, and most competive Senate races broke for the Democrats keeping the Senate as It was Instead of gains that many predicted for the Republicans.
