Is THIS "off the table", too?

I would contact my Congressman and demand these two political hacks be impeached, but John Shimkus has never failed to excuse ANY conduct of ANY Republican and he is certainly not inclined to do ME any favors.

If someone else can get this started, I will certainly support it.

1. Me too. I think I goofed before and also named Alito but I guess he
wasn't in on this. I'd support this to the nth degree. When I was a young kid in school the SC Justices were thought to be almost a sacred group. We would giggle every time Justice Frankfurter's (sp?) name was mentioned but they were revered and conducted themselves accordingly. This is appalling.

6. "...the SC Justices were thought to be almost a sacred group."
I heard the same thing in high school in 1971.

I remember the day like it was yesterday. Mr. Dunphy, our US government teacher, told us we could criticize the President and the Congress, but we always have respect for the Supreme Court. He said the Justices were learned, enlightened individuals, very intelligent and above politics. I carried that belief for some 30 years. The election of 2000 shattered my "respect" for them! Now I see them for the hacks they are. They're no better than the sleaziest, slimiest politician in Congress today.

I wonder what Mr. Dunphy would be saying today...

9. My grammar school years were mid to late 40s and we were told
the same thing. The election of 2000 was a travesty and the Bush cabal had a lot of influence..

8. Any investigation should be focused and brief: Did these two attend a get-together with
the Uber-Teabagger Koch brothers? If they did, they have totally and irrevocably impaired their ability to even appear fair and unbiased and if they had even a shred of integrity, they should resign.

Since we all know they will not voluntarily give up their authority over our lives, I say its time to put a boot in their blubbery asses.

One white conservative rubberstamp and one black. Hell, that's even "fair and balanced"!

13. Not the first time they've gone far beyond "even the appearance of impropriety".
Remember Bush v. Gore and how both of them had close family working on the Bush campaign? Law and Ethics are for "the lesser" people.

14. The investigation would have to look on the decision
of allowing $$$ by companies into the political process. It seems to me that the Koch brothers and their allies directly benefited from the Supreme Court ruling. That is where the case would be.

11. They're Republicans so don't expect this to go much Further in MSM

We've seen this many times before...if its republicans then for the most part it will not gain that much traction.
Word to the wise, if u are going to do something malicious (and not involving sex) it is better to be a republican than democrat.
