My guess is that it will be up and down but close between Toomey and Sestak from now until the election and victory will come to which ever party GOTV in bigger numbers. But I must say I'm much more confident about PA than I was.

1. We just really need to GOTV. I was skeptical about this race but we can pull it off.

2. Poll shows Sestak, Toomey in tight race
Thursday, October 21, 2010
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The race for Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate seat is a statistical dead heat, according to a poll released early Thursday morning.

The latest Quinnipiac University poll show Republican Pat Toomey getting 48 percent of likely voters to 46 percent for Democratic U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak. In the Sept. 22 poll, Mr. Toomey held a 50-43 percent edge over Mr. Sestak.

The poll shows Mr. Toomey holding an 88-8 percent edge among Republicans and 56-35 percent margin among independent voters. Mr. Sestak, though, is winning 89 -7 percent among Democrats. Thirteen percent of Mr. Toomey's voters and nine percent of Mr. Sestak's backers say they might change their mind before Election Day.

A gender gap is evident in the race. Mr. Toomey is leading 54-40 percent among men, but Mr. Sestak is in front, 53 -- 41 percent, among women.

From Oct. 13 through Sunday, Quinnipiac University polled 1,046 Pennsylvania likely voters, with a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.

3. I don't think people should get excited about polls because
they only reflect 700 people's opinion and these could change minute by minute providing who the republican corporate owned companies call. And the media is just trying to push republicans because their masters told them to. I don't think we are going to loose either one of the branches of congress. People are not stupid enough to overwhelmingly vote for the bas**rds who put us in this position to begin with no matter what the media says.

4. I hope you are right but then I have less faith in people than you do.

5. There's no doubt Sestak has the momentum and superior GOTV. Keep pushing. nt
