Early Voting figures in Iowa 2 & 3 congressional districts very favorable for Dems
Iowa’s 3rd District

Early voting trends in endangered Democratic Rep. Leonard Boswell’s district are favoring Democrats, according to new figures obtained by POLITICO. Close to 28,000 Democrats have asked for an early ballot, while about 22,600 Republicans have asked for one. Dems—about 36 percent of the electorate here—account for nearly half of all the early ballot requests. It’s similar in Iowa’s 2nd District, where Rep. Dave Loebsack is facing a stronger-than-expected challenge: 51 percent of the early ballot requests are from Democrats, who make up 38 percent of the district’s electorate.

3. I'm glad Iowa keeps pretty good track of it's early votes by partisan numbers
requesting and returning ballots because all the polls in IA have favored the GOP for Senate and Governor (the Des Moine Register Poll by about 20-points in each race)and so if Dems are showing strength in Iowa I'm hoping it will be an indication that nationally the Dems will turn out and vote.
