Yep, the same Sheriff Joe that is under investigation for human rights abuses.

Arpaio's cloudy background appears to be of no concern to the candidates. If charges were brought against Arpaio, they would not be brought before the November election. Meanwhile, Arpaio may be seeking maximum exposure himself. He reportedly is considering a run for the presidency.

Arpaio is scheduled to appear at Stoney's Rockin' Country Bar on Las Vegas Boulevard Tuesday.
