MA-GOV Poll: Patrick (D) 43, Baker (R) 39
Edited on Sun Oct-24-10 09:05 AM by Mass
While this poll is closer than other polls showing the race as a 6 to 8 points race, it is another poll that shows Patrick ahead and shows the race moving to Patrick. A previous poll by the Globe a month ago showed the race as a 1 point race.

Patrick's favorables are +6, Baker's -2, and he is a lot more likeable. Good news as long as we dont become complacent.

4. The Globe just released a poll with it 44-36 in Patrick's favor.
And as I typed this, Charlie Baker's favorite attack ad came on TV. :puke:

7. It was not a Globe/UNH poll. It was a Western NE College that the Globe reported.
This one is a poll subsidized by the Boston Globe.

This said, all the recent polls give Patrick up by 4 to 8.

5. The ads linking Baker to the Big Dig have been very effective...
... that's my impression, based on the conversations I've had.

Pointing out that he was CEO of a big health insurance company doesn't win him many new friends, either!

6. With Cahill running as an indendent, it will take away the votes for Baker

8. And Patrick. Polls show that they split about evenly at this point.
