SD at large House poll--Herseth-Sandlin (D) 42% Noem (R) 40%

A new Nielson Brothers poll finds Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-SD) with an edge over challenger Kristi Noem (R) in the race for Congress, 42% to 40%, with 17% undecided.

Most other recent polls have given Noem the edge in the race.

So it's nice to see another voice (even a brand new firm) adding something to the conversations.

Not that 42% in a red state is likely to get very far... but it's sure better than trailing by five.

Incumbent polling only 42% with 17% undecided?

I have to think in this cycle a huge percentage of the undecideds will break for the Republican/challenger.

Any incumbent not at 50% may be in some danger. Any incumbent only at 42% is probably in mortal danger.
