Chris Coons stance on LGBT rights
http://www.chriscoons.com/issues/lgbt/

Chris believes that all Delawareans should have the same equal rights—regardless of race, creed, gender, sexual preference, or disability.
Chris has always been a strong supporter of the LGBT community here in Delaware. As County Executive, he established an external Diversity Commission that reviews county policies and practices. Chris has also secured domestic partnership benefits for New Castle County government employees.
As U.S. Senator, Chris will fight for the repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman for purposes of all federal laws. Congress should repeal DOMA so that federal law recognizes all married couples, whatever their sexual orientation.
Likewise, Chris would move for instant repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) to ensure that DADT is repealed and our Armed Forces strengthened.
Job security is one of the most important issues facing our economy. No one should have to worry about keeping his or her job based on his or her sexual orientation. With this in mind, Chris supports the Employment Non-Discrimination Act that will ensure legal hiring practices for all citizens, regardless of sexual orientation.
The politics of identity should not decide whether an American citizen can keep his or her job, serve in the military, or adequately care for his or her loved ones. We should all pledge an irrevocable commitment to civil rights, freedom, equality and opportunity that is equal for all.

1. Just for balance, what does Christine O'Donnell think?

No answer needed.

2. I was going to vote for Coons just because he ended up on the ticket...
But after hearing him in the CNN debate, he won me over completely. I think we accidentally ended up with a better person in that office than an orchestrated process would have ever produced. I already thanked the neighbor for voting for O'Donnell in the primary.

3. He's not going to lose
But if he doesn't beat Prissy Chrissy by at least eight points, we're in for a very tough night.
