1. DON'T Donate to a candidate...

At this point, one week out, the candidates can't invest in new advertising, and mailers are going to get lost in all the other political junk mail voters are receiving. You're better off donating to the relevant State or County Party, or more importantly, to the Party organizations in major battleground states (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, etc.) where we need to protect ourselves in anticipation of the 2012 redistricting.
