What is the law when it comes to private "security" personal arresting & detaining people? |
|
Just saw the video of the women being taken down by two balls in mouthers punk ass'd men. Unless she was putting someone in danger, and from what I've seen she was not, the people who assaulted her should go to jail...
What is the law when it comes to these matters?
Wasn't it Joe Millers person security who detained someone earlier this month?
I feel if they don't have the right to detain or assault someone like the police you can defend yourself right?
The video was disturbing to say the least, I don't see what she could've done to deserve what those two punk ass's did.
TIA

1. Depends on Kentucky law of defense of others |
|
or when a private person can arrest. Common law was something like you can't make your own arrest unless a misdemeanor is committed in your presence.

5. Their rights ended where her body began. They assaulted |
|
her, injured her and if the law does what it's supposed to do in cases of assault, they will spend time in jail. I'm sure this video made many abused women shudder.

6. Presumably, Paul's goons would look a lot better if they were actually security staff. |
|
Turns out they weren't.
IIRC from the accounts I read, this woman was actually screened by the police as she entered, just before the incident, and the police didn't see a problem with her exercising her First Amendment rights.
This is aggravated assault and battery - she did nothing that could justify an assault, certainly nothing that would justify getting her head stomped on.
And the head-stomping could have very easily caused severe injuries or death - that aggravates this incident from basic assault and battery to aggravated assault. These douches should be looking at years in the state pen for this.
