. . .not only is this is home town its his (our) neighborhood. I think its important that we draw as many folks as possible and welcome him home as we head down the final stretch of this race.

6. Chicago is having its own version
in Grant Park from 11 to 2, which leaves plenty of time to get to Hyde Park, which I'm sure will get packed. Long day, but sounds awesome!

5. The last rally like that I was at was in Grant Park. I don't think he can out do that.
:) I will try to make it.

7. Yeah, I still get a warm, fuzzy feeling
every time I think about it. The crowd was Chicago at its finest. I remember spilling out into the street afterward with such joy.

8. we sure didn't think in one year we could get a republican governor AND senator.
It's damn scary what's going on in our state.

9. It's not over yet
And I think this rally will definitely help. Frankly, the candidates are weak -- but still a hell of a lot better than the Republicans.

It's a fairly narrow strip of land, but a mile long.

Wouldn't you know I'm going to be out of town this weekend.

but I am now 2000 miles away in Washington state
after spending 30+ years in Chicago area which I loved.
I have shaken hands with Mayor Daly (the senior).

19. Kick, because one of the last media images the nation
sees before Tuesday's election should be a perfectly huge and enthusiastic crowd of pro-Obama Democrats.

Plus afterward there's a thousand great restaurants to have a bite to eat in around Chicago.
