Brewer suspected of DUI in 1988 crash; case not pursued
http://www.azcentral.com/news/election/azelections/articles/2010/10/27/20101027factcheck-brewer1027.html

ANALYSIS: On May 4, 1988, a car driven by
Brewer rear-ended a van on Interstate 17.

The van's driver, William Holland, was not
injured in the crash. Brewer also emerged
unscathed, though there was significant
damage to her car.

DPS officers at the scene believed Brewer was
intoxicated. Unsteady on her feet, her breath
smelling of alcohol, Brewer failed a series of
field sobriety tests.

Brewer was placed in handcuffs and taken to
a DPS station, where she was supposed to
undergo a test to determine her blood-
alcohol level. But no test was ever
performed. After a discussion with a DPS
lieutenant, two officers drove Brewer home.

they would have been booked, bailed, and pleaded but not the privileged elite among us.

2. Meh, Arizona is going to elect Brewer no matter what...
If she ate cute puppies on live TV she'd still get elected.

After that debate debacle and she's still up a gazillion points. Arizona is just hopeless this election cycle.

3. One thing I dislike about posts like this ...
No first name is indicated ....

Yeah .... I could link up to that website and give them a few hits as they pump my machine full of Java PopUp nonsense ....

Those of us who live far away from Arizona aren't quite on a first name basis yet ....
