Linda McMahon & Rudy Giuliani are visiting my company this afternoon
90 minutes on the Friday afternoon at a mid-sized company in a large town outside of Hartford.

Seems odd to me that they're not in some place bigger - both company-wise and the size of the town/city - so close to election day.

Everybody at the company is invited to a reception, but I'd be afraid to ask her if she knows the minimum wage yet... I'd get headstomped or handcuffed... and then fired.

I wonder if Rudy will still be "noun, verb, 9/11"

3. Jeez, what a pair.
I would have zero interest in either of them if they came to my company.

4. well, I went to get some free cookies
and then left when I heard Rudy lying about something...

wish I had known earlier - I could have asked on DU for somebody local to pose as my spouse (spouses were invited) & then had the spouse ask some tough questions.

7. I would have shown up as your spouse
what do you think ol' Linda would have thought about that? Has she ever mentioned anything regarding her feelings of gay marriage not yet completely disrupting the social fabric of Connecticut?

Then again I have no idea what that idiots thoughts are on matters such as this, she's been so busy pretending to have been a real businesswoman that I don't think she's articulated a single position on any other issue has she?

Cookies would taste good right now.

8. No, and she's generally avoided the press
The CT Democratic Party put out a funny ad of her running away/dodging the press - set to Benny Hill Show music.

9. Tell Rudy you heard a rumor about something happening in NYC around 9 years ago, and ask him ...
if he has heard anything about that.

10. So glad I was not near Hartford today. Ick. At least you got free cookies out of it.
McMahon is only liked in my neck of the woods, the 5th district and Litchfield County. As soon as I get down into central CT, her signs are not everywhere.
