YouGov releases Final Senate Polls: Dems take lead in IL and WA/NV dead heat |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-30-10 10:46 PM by Politics_Guy25
fivethirtyeight Nate Silver
YouGov just released results: Angle +2 in #NVSEN, Giannoulias +3 in #ILSEN, Johnson +6 in #WISEN, Murray +3 in #WASEN.
Awesome news!!!!! I will be devastated if we lose IL on election night. It's a race I want more than any other, the president's home seat.
Il is critical because if we win in IL, the GOP chances to win the senate really are non-existent and poof.

PPP has our Governors race tied in CT! I find this hard to believe.

8. They have our Senator race in WA tied |
|
I don't believe it either. In WA they have Murray and Rossi at 47% each, too convenient.

12. Strange. Murray has been ahead this entire month. |
|
The base came to her defense and the Independents softened on Rossi. PPP's accuracy may be in serious question here.

2. K&R; I think we willl do better than expected |
|
I think we get wins with Reid, Murray, Boxer, Manchin, Giannoulias, and Sestak - with the possibility of an Alaska upset.

4. They are but YouGov was the 3rd most accurate poster in the 2008 cycle per Pollster |
|
They have perfected this method and had a bad poll for us in MO on Saturday so they seem to know what they're doing. They also nailed the UK election in 2010.

10. And she definitely is a nutbag. |

A recent cover of The Progressive shows Sharron Angle and Rand Paul in the cab of a giant steamroller and an image of the Capitol Building smashed into the surface of the roller.
The Baggers have no respect for the Founders' vision and the Republicans are the ones who let them in the door.

7. These are more encouraging numbers than we had last week |
|
and I'll double-root for Alexi in your state.
The races look close in a lot of states, so the more blue voters we can cram into vans and get to the polls, the better.
