More specifically, extending the Bush taxcuts. If you are afraid the economy will not have recovered by next election and by not extending the Bush taxcuts, the Republicans will blame you for it so you think it is wise to vote with them. You are full of stupid shit.

It doesn't matter if the economy has recovered or not, they will blame you. You should know that or you do not deserve to be in the position you are now in. If the economy is still bad, they will find another reason to blame you. Your policies simply do not create confidence in the business community or some such rot. And you know it.

It's time to wise up.
