Hubby and I just did a in unison.. "SHUT UP" at the TV..
David Stockman the economic genius :sarcasm: who instituted those tax cuts during the Reagan years that ran us into massive debt..just said that we need to pay taxes.. his idea.. the wealthy be taxed 15% one time that would help balance the budget..and while blaming the republicans.. basically saying the Democrats need to do it..

The interviewer asked if this would feasibly happen.. he said no of course.

Well you nimrod.. you got us into this.. and now.. as usual it is the Democrats that have to drag everyone out of the mud.

Well okay.. just do me a favor and shut up and help pull us out instead of standing there or sitting there and carping and kicking dirt at us while we do the hard work.

1. On January 20, 2001, I did not
watch the Inauguration that year. I just could not bear it. I had no idea how truly terrible the next eight years would be, but I knew they wouldn't be good. When my husband got home from work he wanted to watch it -- various networks were of course re-running it. When Bush took the Oath of Office, I said, "There's his first lie."

Little did I know how prescient I was being.

4. It was that obvious to us.
Right after that (s)election when my two sons were still in high school, a military recruiter called for my older son. I handled the call & told him that under no circumstances would either of my sons be signing up.

He asked why & I told him Republicans love war & they weren't getting either of my sons.

And we know what happened after that.

3. Make that another "Shutup!" The Reagan crew loved the rich, too.
