So, there is a regional tsunami in the midwest and south (except NC) but Dems doing well
in Pennsylvania. What I think may develop is that there is going to be a regional firewall in the Northeast and West Coast that may stave off a loss of the house.

1. South---always been bad for progressive people. It's always this Union vs. Confed. mentality.
How's Feingold doing?

3. WI polls close in 15 minutes. If they say "too early to call" Feingold loses
if they say "too close to call" Feingold has a chance. If they call it right away for Johnson, well...

5. Is it the South, or has it been computers, right wing money and propaganda...lies?
Carter carried all but one of the Confederate states --

Was there ever really a Southern Strategy, or was there only computers?

12. Carter woon in 1976 as a Southern running against Ford from Michigan
- there is some regional pride. In addition, Ford pardoned Nixon.

14. The "Southern Strategy" was allegedly pro-Repug...anti-Democrat .....
so you kinda jumped the hurdle there in the wrong direction ---

I'd also point out that the LARGE computers used by MSM and the voting

computers began to come in during mid-and-late-1960's ....

just about the time that America was passing The Voting Rights Act.

I'd question every election back to Nixon/Humphrey.

Meanwhile, two journalists did investigate suspicions about computer voting

in Florida and published a book called VOTESCAM - The Stealing of America.

It's online if you care to browse it -- here ....

11. Nope, thats a done deal I am afraid. But there were some interesting places where the GOP did not
fare so well. North Carolina and Pennsylvania for instance.
