4. PA changes every eight years.
Without fail. Always happens. The real tragedy is that piece of shit Toomey winning. We are going to regret this one.

We had a republican governor here in Michigan from 1990-2002 (engler) and Clinton won the state twice. Gore won it also.

8. Every 8 years Pennsylvania Governor changes party
Personally I blame it on Catherine Baker-Knoll - she should have retired after her first term and let someone else be Lt. Governor. Instead she ran again even though she was in her 80s and yes, she did pass away. Pennsylvania didn't have a Lt. Governor they could have built into that job leaving the office open for the taking.

12. I blame it on Onorato. He was seen as too close to Rendell.
We should have nominated Jack Wagner.

Onorato did not run a very strong campaign, IMO. Of course, Corbett had a huge financial advantage-- big surprise.

11. Don't get to worked up about PA. It would have been nice to have a Dem in office again, but
it seems to be a constant pattern here that every eight years we go from a Democrat Gov. to a Repub one. Rendell has been our Gov. for nearly eight years, so it was assumed it would go to a Repub this time-even a stupid one like Corbett, who really didn't have to do much to win. Corbett's election had very little to do with other races. It just seemed to be time for a Repub.
