Perhaps Obama might realize he needs better communication people?
I said it from the start that Robert Gibbs would be a terrible press secretary. He puts people to sleep and comes across as a bit of a smart alec. He alienated the White House press corps from the start.

Also, Tim Kaine is a joke at the DNC. This was the lamest attempt to get the message out ever. Most people think Obama RAISED taxes. In truth he cut taxes by 280 billion. Did we see one commercial trying to clear up these right wiing lies? They let the Republicans claim he "Cut" medicare by 500 billion. They made no effort to really explain the stimulus.

The last time the Democrats got thumped in the mid terms we had a guy named Davis Wilhelm at the helm of the DNC. Like Kaine, he was a nice guy but clueless.

2. He needs to let Michelle do the talking. But I agree with you, he
really, really does need to get rid of Robert Gibbs. Hell, I don't even like him and I get the funny feeling he's really not on our side.

3. But how do you get Obama's narrative out there in an election. I mean the people
who are watching faux news and nothing else. How do you get to those people. Cause there are a lot of them and they are still out there..

4. I'll go one further. I think they need a propaganda
apparatus independent of the WH press secretariat paid for with outside funds.

9. I think they thought of progressives as friends
or at least relatives. Foolish mistake on their part.

10. Yes. We need to clearly
effectively & succinctly communicate how we are going to continue to stretch our hands out in a polite, collegial, bipartisan manner to our Republican friends across the aisle. :sarcasm:
