Huge loophole in health care overhaul

WASHINGTON D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Senators are working to hammer out a health care overhaul, but they're leaving a huge loophole in coverage.

There's a provision in the bill that would let insurance companies limit medical care for people with expensive illnesses like cancer.

It would be up to government officials to decide whether a company's limit is unreasonable.

Legislation passed by a senate health panel last year would have banned similar limits.
