Is there a plan to publicize those who voted AGAINST the Wall Street Reform bill.... |
|
or will they just be allowed to get away with that?
What would the "Teabaggers" say, when they (if ever) realize that the Republicans all voted against any reforms for Wall Street Corporations? Anything?
Most likely that is why this will be ignored by our GOP Friendly News Media. That's why Republicans are always ahead in a game that they should lose.... not because of the Democrats as much as because the MSM is their friend, and so they can expect to be protected at all times, as they fight real hard to maintain status quo.

1. Theres little reform in that reform bill |
|
It wont prevent another crisis, so dont be surprised (or act offended) if you see some real liberals voting against it along with Republicans.

2. It already passed...... |
|
and I don't start from the premise that status quo is somehow better than some reforms, even if some have been watered down.
Do you know what the bill does specifically?

3. Watered down credit card reform, watered down 'universal' health care reform AND....... |
|
now watered down wall street reform. Certainly no question in my mind who is in control and who has the real power. Next, a corporate funded ad campaign will attempt to convince US that fascism is a beautiful thing. The 'washington titanic' continues to take on more water with each NEW 'do nothing' piece of legislation. Looks like we are all going down with the ship.

4. If Republicans were in charge.. |
|
There would be NO Credit card reform, NO Health Care Reform, and NO Wall Street reform.
Dem's are in charge - but they aren't allowed to drive the boat by themselves...

5. I expected a huge thread praising the passage but dont see one... |
|
It includes Elizabeth Warrens brainchild, the CFPA. Is she being thrown under the DU bus?

7. I'm not celebrating anything until the Senate gets done with it |
|
If the CFPA survives, I'll be happy.
