Poll question: Which stage are you at?

I've been in depression for a while now. :(

1. Have heard that before.
There are some that say 'life' is like accepting grief.

So they would say me not accepting some situation some other person thinks I should be in, a statement they can not defend, would be part of grief where I am in some non accepting stage.

Guess what, my life is not grief! Nor is existence despair.

So you see where that concept comes from :)

That same thing has been said many times before, it only applies if your life is grief.

2. None of them.
I'm ready to support a primary challenge, just like I did in 1978. Enough is enough!

3. Anger . . . and I'm happy to feel it. Over the last 6 months or so
I've been incredibly depressed about everything. The dark cloud has finally lifted and I'm gleefully pissed off again.

5. Acceptance.
I think that one could build a good case that the powerful
In the democratic party are neo-liberals and are
Governing based on those ideas.

12. Acceptance and Anger
I've accepted that Obama was bad news for almost two years, since he outsourced governing to the same DLC crowd that performed brutal economic sodomy against working Americans last time.

But hell no, I'm not accepting our demise. We need to get rid of the swine once and for all. Pelosi is our most important ally in stopping these scoundrels.

14. ^ "brutal economic sodomy against working Americans " ^ True, sad but funny, Manny.
I'm still in anger over the sham 'hope and change' I literally bought into.

Acceptance I find too close to capitulation.

We're all in the same boat - best of luck!

26. Got to be more specific...
I am not so attached to the political process in that way. It seems about the same to me, which is fucked up. It is what the military so poetically calls 'snafu' situation normal, all fucked up.
Last time I did the stages about politics was 1968. I lost a bet with my Aunt. And that leads to more poetry from odd quarters. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, won't get fooled again.
I hope that suffices.

33. Then what?
I got to acceptance back in the seventies, when I was a teenager. I processed the grief I felt about American politics being profoundly corrupt and probably unrepairable since the invention of corporate personhood and the rise of the multinational.

I still have a life to life.. is there a blueprint for how long-term action works after that?

By that logic, the process of dealing with the existence of black slavery in America would have stopped with acceptance. Where's the hundred-year plan for freedom?

Why is the RW always fired up while liberals are mumbling and grumbling? Why is that?
