49. Oh well,
The news here in Charlotte broke in to show him getting of AF1 this morning. I call his Winston Salem office and told them what I think. How dare he have the nerve to be on AF1 after signing the letter with the other 41 gop senators. I let them know that he is a hypocrite and should be embarassed but won't because like the rest of his party, they have no soul. I'm sure that the message will not be given to him like his staff person indicated it would be.

47. Wrong. It's what the GOP said they wanted. A temporary 2 year extension is FAR better for them ...
... because it gives then a great talking point for the presidential election.

You can't just look at what they say.

13. "The most important competition is NOT between Dems and Repubs..."
"but between America and our competition around the world."

That's the gist of his speech ... wants us to have a Sputnik moment. Just like Sputnik jolted us into the space race, we need to be jolted into the global economic race by strengthening our economic system.

There's more going on in the world friends than whether we "lose" an argument to the GOP.

Edited on Mon Dec-06-10 01:06 PM by Clio the Leo
.... but he is NOT the leader of those who offer complaints with no solutions. Those who want to sit and criticize without being willing to help.

IF you consider yourself to be one of those people, might want to see what Jane Hamsher is up to. Maybe you can get her elected.
