Obama will affirm GOP tax talking points if he caves
Edited on Mon Dec-06-10 06:36 PM by Cali_Democrat
Obama has no leg to stand on if he compromises.

If he attacks Republicans for being irresponsible by wanting tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, Republicans can just point to him and say you signed the fricken bill! If tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires are so bad, why sign the bill?

2. No he will not. Democrat have to pass the bill or it doesn't pass
Also, why do you think Republicans will not attack the President if the middle-class tax cuts expire?

3. Republicans are the ones filibustering the plan
Though of course our media lets them get away with it.

4. "Democrats have to pass the bill or it doesn't pass"
My point exactly.

By passing and signing the bill and giving the GOP what they want, they will affirm GOP talking points and they will not be able to attack the GOP for being fiscally irresponsible because they will have been accomplices.
