Obama Tax Cuts (no longer Bush): Libeal Democrats Ready to Block to Save America?
Even Joe Scarbrough of Morning Joe admitted today that Obama has give everything to the GOP and thinks its embarrassingly weak...yes Joe, the republican

Pat Buchanin called it: "game, set and match...a total victory for republicans".

A filibuster threat would mean the administration would have to muster 60 Senate votes to get any economic compromise to pass. To reach that magic number in this lame duck session, Obama would have to attract 18 Democrats, assuming that all 42 current GOP Senators vote “aye.”

“That’s a lot of Democrats, many of whom are very much on the record as opposing an extension for those over $250,000,”

At heart the basic complaint of liberals is that Obama has surrendered to the Republicans on a core item without making a concerted case to the nation about how extension of tax cuts for the wealthy is wrong, and too expensive.

“Obama has seemingly surrendered his once-considerable abilities to act, decide or think,” wrote New York Times columnist Frank Rich in a piece on Sunday. Mr. Rich further compared the president to a hostage suffering from mistaken Stockholm Syndrome sympathy for his captors.

Here is hoping the remaining REAL democrats can stay strong and fight the GOP (which includes the WH). Its time this tax cut ended.
We can propose new bills for the unemployment separately and hopefully then Obama will grow a pair and go out and fight for his principles instead of instinctively giving them all up because he is too scared.

2. Do you even know what you're talking about??? Did you listen to the details of this deal???
80% of it is pure Liberal tax cuts, and all you can focus is your hate towards the rich.

4. How did Jow and Pat know what the deal even was before Obama gave his speech?
I don't think the Republicans are the only ones who got things.
