1. since it's "our team" pushing it - "Later Dude" Dems are pretty freaking useless
at getting anything that MATTERS passed.

5. Hahahaha! It is SO "later dude" as to be a tiny speck over the horizon
I doubt I'll see it in my lifetime.

And for many years, we'll get to hear over and over and over again how bad it would be to allow those icky gays to serve openly in the military. It's going to be so much worse now.

6. It will get done. And the REASON it will get done...
is Joe Lieberman's insistence, believe it or not. He wants to keep congress in session until it's voted on. He's good on THIS, if nothing else.

7. Seriously? Mr. "Today I'm a Dem, Tomorrow I'm Endorsing McCain"?
That's who you're basing your faith in?

8. Absolutely. And if you watched ANY of the DADT-repeal hearings,
you'd agree with me. He was disagreeing with McCain all day, each day, to his face (right next to him, at least).

11. I know about his concern. But on Monday he hadn't heard about Lieberman's
statement that he wants to stay in session until it IS voted on.

9. Depends. Is there a way for corporate special interestes to profit massively fromn DADT repeal?
Edited on Mon Dec-06-10 10:18 PM by Mister Ed
If so, it will fly through both chambers of congress tomorrow morning. If not, then GLBT folks will continue to be second-rate citizens paying first-rate taxes.

13. There was just a box on the bottom of MSNBC's screen that said, "Sen. Joe Lieberman
(I-CT) Pushes For 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' Repeal".
