Can someone explain to me how Obama "Has Changed Washington"? |
|
I heard him promise it many times and believed it. And if it has happened I have not seen it. I think DC is as bad as it ever was, maybe worse.
What am I missing?

or does he still have time?

3. Previously, DC was run by a two party system. Now it is run by a single party - the Republican party |

4. Have any idea how he might do that without YOU & 10s of millions like you. |
|
Active on the issues instead of every so busy telling him to stand up as you pull the rug (voter support) out from him. Do you think the people he has to fight to change Washington don't KNOW a bunch of his "support" (HA!) is abandoning him? Have you EVER walked into a high stakes negotiation and tried to get something from hostiles and they KNOW that you represent no one else and nothing but yourself?
There's a lot of people around here real busy creating the very thing that they say justifies their lack of commitment. Why is that? Because they think they are God, they think they know enough about the whole thing that the President is dealing with, all of the issues, and all of the details of all of the issues, and all of the ways in which all of those details interact and that they have the ability to predict the future sooooooooooooooooooooooo well that they can in absolute fact predict exactly everything that is going to happen and, thus, come up with the conclusion that they should abandon this presidency because it is a failure.
Holy. Fucking. Wow.

7. To his credit, I think he really did try to change it. The Repukes wouldn't have any of it though. |
|
Where I think he went wrong was where he was way too patient with them and way too kind to them during his first year, thinking they'd come around sooner than later. I don't think he realized just what corrupt assholes he was up against.
