Poll question: What would you do?
A couple of members of Congress have argued that the President should take his middle-class tax cuts argument on the road. There simply isn't time to plan and wage a campaign to target key Senators in their home states. Also, that may have made sense a few months back, but Democrats decided not to vote on the issue prior to the election.

Time is also not on the Democrats' side, and there are other bills to address before this session ends. Republicans can wait it out. They held unemployment hostage for two months this summer.

I have no expectation that Republicans will cave in three weeks when three days later they will gain control of the House and have more seats in the Senate.

What would you do?

8. The Democrats cannot allow our Republican president to validate the right wing
Obama has done nothing to validate liberalism. He failed to win public enthusiasm for health care reform or the stimulus bill, and now he's making the conservatives look like winners, and he's actually called the liberals sanctimonious.
