5. "Strongly support", because polls lack the ability to differentiate opposition from the right and |
|
opposition from the left.
If the choice is between Obama and the GOP, there is no photo.

6. I strongly support with some reservations but overall he has pleased me |
|
Since DU isn't really a Democratic site, but a progressive left site the fact that Obama is doing as well in this poll as he is is encouraging.

11. Thanks for acknowledging what DU truly IS. |
|
Aren't you just a bit disappointed that the Democratic Party, though, isn't "progressive left?" Heck, that's what many of us think we're voting for when we vote for Democrats.

I do believe he is a better person than Bush, but what in the hell has he actually done any differently from Bush?
Bush had his corporate giveaway Medicare prescription drug program, Obama the corporate giveaway HCR. Both wars are continuing. The Bush tax cuts and inheritance tax cuts are continuing. Giant, too-big-to-fail corporations still run the government.
I would FAR rather let all the tax cuts expire and work on the deficit than give in to the ridiculous Republican demands.
Frankly, if Obama is this shitty of a negotiator with Republicans, it worries me that he is cutting arms deals.

10. Barely support him. I would vote for him again, but only because the other choice |
|
will certainly be worse.
I was a very enthusiastic supporter, donor and voter in the '08 election.

12. Of course. In the terms of a national poll, I do. |
|
That doesn't mean I'm not extremely disappointed in him.

I responded to every poll by giving Obama the highest marks possible... Until Yesterday.
NOW, I will be honest.
