Barbara Walters asks Palin what she reads...
obviously Palin was a little more prepared...

More than two years after Sarah Palin was stumped by the question, "What newspapers do you read?", she told Barbara Walters in an interview to air later tonight.

Said Palin: "I read anything and everything that I can get my hands on as I have since I was a little girl... I'm reading the best book right now -- Dean Karnazes's book about being an ultra-marathoner. I read a lot of C.S. Lewis when I want some divine inspiration...I read Newsmax and The Wall Street Journal. I read all of our local papers of course in Alaska because that's where my heart is."

Newsmax!? I guess that makes sense.

1. I read whatever shows up on DU
Does anyone read a newspaper anymore? Maybe that's passé.

2. I do--my local paper
I also read online papers editions. I don't count on DU for all my news.

4. Yeah I read some of my online local paper.
And generally google news. But I read based on subject, not by publication.

3. So she's learned to list books...
Now interviewers need to ask her to talk about their contents. If I were Babwa, I would have said something like, "That's interesting. While there is a definite Christian theme running through the C.S. Lewis children stories composing the Narnia series, which has gained new popularity thanks to the movies, I'm embarrassed to say I'm unfamiliar with any of his other work. What else did he write, and what inspires you from those books?"

11. C.S. Lewis, huh?
Maybe she watches the DVD version, but I doubt she's ever waded through anything tougher than his Lion, Witch and Wardrobe series.
