Obama stands up to the left
Obama shows enormous courage standing up to the left and accepting Republican demands for eliminating estate tax for large estates and keeping taxes low for the wealthy. He also stood up to the left by not closing Guantanamo, by continuing the war in Afghanistan, by allowing Holder to defend DADT, by continuing Bush's bailouts for Wall Street, and so much more.

Anyone who thinks Obama is weak is wrong. Obama is actually quite strong, just unprincipled. He's done a great job validating the right-wing and discrediting the left-wing. The last elections were proof of his success.

1. Pattern shows he is afraid of conflict, especially if it is from the Right.
The best way for the left to get Obama's attention is to do what GOP is doing: Fighting. Until then OBama will just move towards where the power is and in Washington it is very right.

2. you know, we expect to get screwed by the GOP.....
..it's what they do! And it's never pleasant but not surprising. There seems to be an even deeper sense of betrayal when it comes from our own party too!!
