14. Other... I hope that he does all of those things as well as...
ending all of the wars, not just Iraq and Afghanistan but Pakistan and Yemen too. I feel like I might be forgetting something.

But as important as ending the wars, taking us back to being a nation of laws. Close Guatanamo and end renditions and torture. Where war crimes would be investigated and prosecuted. Where war profiteering would be investigated and prosecuted. Where major fraud would be investigated and prosecuted. Where the criminals who tanked the world economy because they got too greedy and stole too much at one time would be prosecuted. There are so many more issues like this and I can not even think of all of them right now but I think this is an important part of what must be done soon.

Billionaires don't need more tax cuts. Go back to the Clinton-era rates. Obama needs to stand p to Congress on this.

20. +1
And that he names a progressive as his successor (Bernie Sanders, Michael Moore, Al Gore) with either of these (and others whose identification I would leave to other progressive voices) there is at least a 50/50 chance that things would be no worse than they are now.

22. For him to reconsider

his view on marriage between members of the same sex. For him to realize, accept, and acknowledge that we're all equal, and we all deserve the same rights and benefits as other people.
While the Obama administration has made great strides towards the advancement of gay folk, for him to publicly say that he thinks marriage should only be between a man and a woman is upsetting, disappointing and discriminatory, especially coming out of the mouth of the first bi-racial president of this country.

To me, civil unions are not equal. It's basically saying, You can sit anywhere on the bus, but you can only drink from this water fountain. That is not equal. It amazes me that Obama, being the first bi-racial president, and knowing the struggles he had because of his race, can continue to be speak out against this equal right for another group of equally discriminated against faction of our country. Sad.

23. I didn't vote in this poll, cause I"m the one that I am looking for.....
and so I'm not going to spend two years "wanting" as much
as two years "Doing what I can to get what I want".

That's been part of the problem...
everybody waiting for someone to do for them,
in a country where that doesn't happen.

Stand up for the poor, the unemployed and the homeless. I wish he would stand up for those of us that do not have a voice in Washington because the only way to be heard is to hand over a ton over money.
