It's clear that the "hostage taking" call out is bothering him.
He says he has a "thick skin" and now has to face the question of why he weeps so often.
You might want to tune in if possible.

20. I'm hoping that he will continue to make him uncomfortable. |
|
I think he will- I was really impressed with the way Pres.O spoke to the republicans, and it wasn't till I logged onto DU that I realized how few people heard anything other than words they felt personally attacked by.

6. yes, he did- while he was talking about not being able to "do schools" |
|
anymore.
Why? because when he looks at the kids, he just wants them to have a chance at the American dream like he did-
Maybe it's more that he can't look the children who suffer as a results of his policies.

He refuses to entertain the concept of compromise.

5. "remember when Ed Muskie cried"? ,asks Stahl |
|
He was a Dem and the Manachester Union Leader and MSM clobbered him for it. Boner's blubbering is getting to me.

15. no, it isn't to me either- his emotions are just too close to the surface- |
|
It seemed to make Stahl and his wife uneasy as well.
I don't care about him embarrassing himself- that might be a good thing for him.

11. I know- no comparison. It was an incredibly ugly moment - the Union Leader |
|
has never been anything but a Right-wing rag. When they went on to smear his wife, I was so ashamed.
Boehner's easy tears are something else entirely-

this attack on his wife, how could he ever be President.

24. it did- with a lot of help from the U.Leader. The Loeb's were |
|
viscious.
He didn't just tear up lightly. They smeared his wife, cruelly and unnecessiarily. Yet, he was seen as weak and unstable.
I have no problem with men who cry- as a matter of fact I admire men who aren't afraid to show emotion- but Mr.Boehners tears come so unexpectedly and ...inappropriately? I'd say the same thing regardless of whether it was happening to a man or a woman, a dem or repub- It seems extreem- the outrage and weeping.

That was very telling- and the mention of the new tea-partiers coming in surprised me.
It wasn't a flattering interview for him imo.

21. I watched Boehner on 60 Minutes. After I got done throwing up, I realized that Bohener |
|
is going to be one of our biggest assets next year. This guy just might possibly be more of a fucking nutcase than Sarah Palin.
I only hope that nobody from Europe watched 60 Minutes tonight because we have enough to be embarrassed about across the world that we don't need this lunatic adding more to the pot. I think they're all in bed, thank goodness.
