"McConnell Warns Against Changing Tax Deal"
Looks like Mr. Smiley Pants, aka "The King of America" is throwing threats around again.

McConnell Warns Against Changing Tax Deal

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) “on Monday night warned House Democrats against making any changes to the Senate’s tax cut bill, saying it would torpedo the package,” Roll Call reports.

The Kentucky Republican’s comments came in a statement shortly after the Senate agreed to move toward final passage of the tax measure, which would extend Bush-era tax cuts for two years and unemployment benefits for 13 months. McConnell struck the deal with the White House last week.

“We now urge the House leadership to bring this bipartisan agreement to a vote without political games or partisan changes designed only to block this bill’s passage in the House. If the House Democratic Leadership decides to make partisan changes, they will ensure that every American taxpayer will see a job-killing tax hike on January 1st,” McConnell said in the statement.

1. If Mitch McConnell is against it, I'm for it. And vice-versa.

4. Well, he's not against the current deal, he's warning House Dems that
if they try to mess with the upper-income tax cuts, the Senate Republicans will filibuster it.

This is no surprise at all. This is one of the moves that was easily predicted when the House Dems suddenly got up in arms over the deal.

And this is the reason that playing chicken with the Republicans won't work.

They DO NOT CARE about tanking the unemployment extension or the middle income tax cuts. They will kill anything that doesn't include their upper-income tax cut.

President Obama Just Won Reelection
There's an ancient Chines proverb that says there are two ways to do in your opponent. You can dig a hole and wait for him to fall in or you can perch him on top of the mountain and wait for him to fall off. Our great leader did the latter. By catering to the Republican's greed he let them sow the seeds of their own destruction.

We ate the Republican's lunch and they don't even know it.

The Grand Compromise will juice the economy, raise people's spirits, bring down unemployment to more manageable levels, and ensure his reelection in 2012.

Muah, Mr. President

I'm sorry I wrote it....

6. Holding America hostage. It's what thugs do.
Give us the tax cuts for the rich, or you will never see your unemployment insurance or your middle class again.

Did the thugs work together? Compromise? Negotiate? Naw, they just took hostages. And the dems paid the ransom.
