1. And who are these sources? Do we have names?
I'd like their names, such that their claims can be checked out.

4. Of course not.
No sources are named, as usual, and it looks as if the HuffPost grabbed this from Politico, as usual.

The intertubes are going tabloid!

It's like the game of telephone, no?

6. Huffington Post: Liberal version of Politico
and with the same sloppy journalism too.

9. HuffPost has gone tabloid.
It seems to be less a about ideology (let alone responsible journalism) and more about site hits. I run an ad blocker, so I can't tell, but I'd be willing to wager that HuffPost has a good amount of advertising now. Am I right? ;-)

10. However that story has been denied by the White House
And, I believe them over the propaganda being picked up by the net.

"White House Denies Report They’re Pushing For Deal With Lieberman"

The White House is shooting down a report in Politico claiming that Obama advisers are pushing Harry Reid to cut a deal to dump the Medicare buy-in to make Joe Lieberman happy.

White House senior communications adviser Dan Pfeiffer emails me:

“The report is inaccurate. The White House is not pushing Senator Reid in any direction. We are working hand in hand with the Senate Leadership to work through the various issues and pass health reform as soon as possible.”

Whatever the case, it doesn’t seem unlikely that the Medicare buy-in will be dropped if that’s what is necessary to get to 60 votes. But the White House insists it’s not pushing for any such thing, at least for now.

Where we are not required to offer loyalty and praise to those who have given us
only lip service.

Have fun seeing if any of this works out for you.

If you live to be in your fifties, you will see it doesn't work.

Nothing in the Health Care "Reform" Bill will allow older Americans now unemployed to gain work, as employers are required to pay the premiums, and the premiums can be age biased, so no one will hire most of us older people in this kind of recession.

But hey, I hear Rahm has a good concession on Soylent Green!

and then denies them in the next breath. This would be, you know, so unlike them. :eyes:

And neither does the White House.

24. No, you provide me the link where Obama ever demanded it.
That's the story. There is nothing from the White House that ever demanded either the public option or the expansion of healthcare.

Show me the demand. Show me that missing link in one full year's debate.
