Obama Approval Reaches Low Of 39%
UTICA, N.Y. – President Barack Obama’s job approval rating has dipped to 39 percent, equaling a low since he took office two years ago, according to a newly released Zogby Interactive poll.

http://njtoday.net/2010/12/15/obama-approval-reaches-low-of-39/

A majority of likely voters – 63 percent – see the President as a weak leader, compared to just 19 percent who say he is strong. More than two thirds (68 percent) believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction.

<snip>

When asked about Obama’s negotiation with Congressional Republicans, 26 percent said that he gives in too easily, 19 percent said that he is unwilling to compromise and 18 percent said that he takes the right approach. One third did not agree with any of those three descriptions.

of junior's ruinous policies, actions, wars, fiscal policies and grossly unfair tax policies. See, that was easy. ;)

Edited on Wed Dec-15-10 12:06 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I'll bet you are sad that you pimped the dishonest DU polls that showed Hillary couldn't be elected...

At least you are consistent.

I fart in the direction of John Zomby, errrrrrrrr Zogby.

He's a dishonest shill whose baked polls have as much resemblance to reality as a porno movie has to real life...

5. How DARE you disparage our President like this? I demand you refudiate this poll.
Those 63% against him, never voted for him in the first place. They WANTED him to fail. They are all either Republican trolls or disgruntled Hillary voters hanging on to primary grudges. They were never his base to begin with.

Besides it's 2 years before the next election. It doesn't matter HOW low his popularity sinks NOW.

His numbers are only low because of Republican trolls posing as "progressives". They are just trying to destroy him.

Also, too, it's ZOGBY. Everyone knows Zogby hates Obama.

(What did I forget?...)

15. I'm Spoken For
I really dislike Zogby. I think he has an agenda. I consider myself a poll buff and he has done some lousy ones. On the eve of the Cali primary he had Hillary losing by thirteen. She won by ten... He conducted a poll which suggested she was unelectable. In the waning days of the 2008 campaign he was doing polls that showed McCain was closing the gap and poised for an upset victory. Of course in his final poll the gap magically reappeared.

Edited on Thu Dec-16-10 08:48 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
If you think Hillary couldn't beat Gramps and The Kid there is nothing I can do to disabuse you of that notion.

John Zogby is the Bernie Madoff of polling. He makes his living off the gullible and poorly informed.

18. according to some DUers, that's 39 percent too high
I'm referring of course to those DUers who cite the fact that they don't personally know anyone who approves of Obama's performance and therefore any poll showing a signficant number of people supporting the President must be wrong.

24. Zogby interactive polls have about the same credibility as an anonymous web poll on Foxnews.com
Edited on Wed Dec-15-10 01:06 PM by phleshdef
His approval ratings in the credible polls reflect the same trend thats been going on for more than a year now. He isn't the most popular person in the country, but he is the most popular one in Washington, and he is holding a fairly healthy level of approval, especially considering all the constant craziness thats been going on.

25. For one thing, virtually everything from Zogby is skewed right...
for another, any "interactive" poll is useless, there are zero control elements, in most cases, the same individual can back out and then vote again and again. One moran destroys any validity whatsoever.

Polls in general are terrible, but "interactive" polls should not even exist.

43. Then you're not looking very hard.
*Obama just signed child's school lunch bill providing kids who can't afford to eat with free meals, and making them more nutritious
*House just passed DADT
*Senate overwhelmingly passed tax cut bill and today the House votes
*NBC poll shows very good news for Obama, with approval number at 45 despite the slow economy, high unemployment and nasty partisian bickering around the country
