3. When the tea party wakes up enough to stop enabling corporations and the uber-wealthy...
...and Democrats wake up enough to stop enabling politicians who enable corporations and the uber-wealthy, and the two join together with others in a populist movement, this country will have a chance.

6. yes, it is ignorant to say that racists are in the tea party
you are a good "progressive". One who believes the tea party is all about populism.

7. Apparently you haven't figured out that "divide and conquer" has...
...kept the culture wars going for thirty years while both parties sell out this country. Dems who support right-wing policies are as ignorant as tea party members who are unwittingly used by corporate entities.

8. any sensible liberal should stop looking longingly towards the Tealiban
there are many non bigoted people we should be trying to convince of how the elites are robbing us blind.

How any progressive can be fantasizing about hooking up with the Tea party is beyond me. Only the ignorant or bigots think we should be hand in hand with those nuts.

Just thought I would ask in case the OP thought there was actually a point.

19. Dad
I thought the left loved the "unwashed masses" of which the seminal poster is so obviously a part of.

11. Rush is irrelevant
But as for the "far left", most Tea Party folk and Ed Schultz...

We have MUCH more in common as working folk getting fucked over by both right-wings of the Corporate War Party...

Most Tea Party folk don't realize it yet, they've been misled by hidden (and not so hidden) corporate interests...

But reject their justifiable anger and angst at your peril...

20. Funny, but I had to read the OP several times to understand.
Though really, just because two groups like or dislike something, does not mean the two groups are similar.
